Rotational Moulding Machine Exporter: Markets We Supply

Khodiyar Industries is a rotational moulding machine exporter based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, building rotomoulding machines since 2007. More than 100 of our machines are installed across India and over 50 outside the country — each one built at our Bakrol plant and supported after it leaves the factory.

This page shows where we currently supply, what buyers in each market typically make, how an export order is shipped, and the support you can expect once the machine reaches your plant. Where a state or country does not yet have its own page, you will find a short summary here.

Markets We Serve Across India

Most domestic orders come from states with strong demand for water storage tanks and agricultural containers — the products rotomoulding plants make in the highest volume.

Export Markets

More than 50 of our machines run outside India. Every export machine is configured for the destination’s electrical supply and shipped in containers from India’s western ports.

South Africa

South Africa is our established export market. Interruptions to municipal water supply keep demand for water tank production high across residential, agricultural and commercial buyers, particularly around Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban. Machines arrive through Durban, the country’s main container port, and are configured for South Africa’s 400V, 50Hz three-phase supply.

Kenya

We are building supply for Kenyan manufacturers, where water storage demand is strong around Nairobi, Mombasa and Nakuru. Shipments enter through Mombasa port, and where the Kenya Bureau of Standards import inspection programme applies, we arrange the required Certificate of Conformity as part of the export documentation. Kenya runs on 415V, 50Hz — the same supply as India.

Other Export Markets

Our export installations extend beyond the markets listed above. If your country is not shown here, get in touch and we will confirm electrical compatibility, shipping to your nearest port and the support available before you commit to an order.

How We Ship

An export order follows the same seven steps whatever the destination.

1

Work order

Once the machine specification and commercial terms are agreed, the work order is generated and the build is scheduled.

2

Manufacturing to drawing

The machine is built to the approved drawing at our plant in Bakrol, Ahmedabad, and the build time is confirmed when the work order is raised.

3

Assembly and quality control

The assembled machine goes through our quality checks and is finished and painted before testing begins.

4

Trial run and test report

Every machine is trial-run and electrically tested at the factory before it is cleared for dispatch, and the test report goes with it.

5

Dismantling and packing

Arms, oven panels and the control panel are separated, protectively wrapped and packed to fit standard shipping containers.

6

Export documentation and sea freight

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and Bill of Lading are prepared, along with any destination-specific certificates, and the consignment sails from Mundra or Nhava Sheva. Transit time depends on the destination port and is confirmed with the shipping schedule.

7

Installation and training

Our qualified engineers reassemble and commission the machine at your plant and train your operators before handover.

Installation and Support Across Markets

Installation and commissioning

Our qualified engineers travel to your plant, reassemble the machine, complete the fitting and commission it into production.

Technical training

Operators are trained on cycle settings, mould handling and routine maintenance during commissioning, and training continues until your team can run the machine unaided.

Electrical supply

India, South Africa and Kenya all run on 50Hz three-phase power at 400–415V, so standard configurations carry across directly. For any other destination, supply is confirmed at quotation.

One year warranty

Every machine carries a one year warranty, and any part found defective within that period is replaced.

Service team and spares

We keep a dedicated service team for installed machines, and wear parts and spares are shipped on request to every market we supply.

Frequently Asked Questions

Orders are confirmed against an advance by telegraphic transfer, with the balance settled before dispatch by telegraphic transfer or letter of credit. The exact split is agreed at quotation stage and depends on order value and destination.

Yes, and most export buyers do. You can visit our Ahmedabad plant to see the machine running, ask us to send video of the trial run, or appoint a third-party inspection agency to attend on your behalf. The machine is dismantled for packing only once you are satisfied with it.

Yes. We manufacture moulds for vertical, horizontal, loft, septic and underground tanks, as well as dustbins, road barriers, pallets and other products. Ordering the machine and moulds together means both are matched to the arm size and oven dimensions from the start.
